I whip my phone out of my pocket as it buzzed (again).

"Mikey, just ignore them. All of them... This shit with 'G'- whoever the fuck he or she is- is probably just some weirdo trying to destroy a bunch of teenagers..." I reach over to hold the hand he had in a fist.

My eyes widened and I jump in front of Mikey who wac charging at my brother. "Please don't kill him..." I put my arms up in defense.. "I just got him back."

"Mikey, please?" I was pretty much begging him to stop. I didn't want to lose the first (and pretty much only) person who'd ever wanted to be friends with me purely for my personality. As his hand is torn from mine, I wondered how "G" knew all of this.

"Lexie, it's fine. I really doubt he's any good in a fight..." But I was actually close to very un-manly tears.

I looked at the ground.. "idiot.." I muttered to myself about Frank... I looked back up at Mikey, so much sad and pleadingness in my eyes. I really didn't want to see my only, totally forgotten brother torn to bits by a tall skinny awkward kid. "Please..?"

I looked down at the little girl looking up at me with the dark hazel eyes. She had so much pleading in them... it just- I turned my head back around and saw Addie with the same look but less pleading. I threw my arms downward and turned around. He was lucky this time.... I walked back over to Addie, my back still facing the others.

"Thank you," I smile at him. I could feel my cheeks starting to turn pink and get warm. Fuck. Fuck me for being pale, and fuck my skin tone for making blushing noticeable.

"Thanks, Lexie..." I was pretty much speechless, and just... yeah. I turn to Mikey. "I'll lessen the jabs at the sexual tension between you two, okay?"

I swung my head back a bit. My teeth were clenched together I thought they were going to snap. "Fine..." and I swung my head around. I was sure whatever mission this G. person had for us, it was going to cause some shit to happen.

"Yeah.." I roll my eyes and sort of stomp back to wear I was standing. "Lets go find what was behind the fucking school? okay?"

I ran towards the trashcans, and a folded up piece of paper caught my eye. It had "Watch your backs," scribbled on it in black ink.
I pick it up.
