I barely saw her hand coming, and my head turned slightly to look at Xavier again in annoyance at Addie, but I felt her fist come in contact with my cheek. Ah, goddammit. I touched my cheek, but it didn't hurt as bad as getting clubbed over the head by Grandma. "Clever shot."
