I walk into Tilly's, my brown leather combat boots clicking the floor with each step. My short black dress was barely longer than my hair, and I kind of looked stupid. What was I even doing here? People knew who everyone in Mountain Park was.

I sighed, walking in to Tilly's with my Michael Crichton book under my arm. I hated clothes shopping. I had about $120, but I knew I was going to spend it more on books than anything.

I looked at a pair of Vans, and looked around. There were some people milling around, the cashiers mumbling among themselves. I frowned when I saw somebody I knew, a girl.... But from where?

"No, no! I'm always getting in people's ways while shopping," if she knew who I was, it wasn't obvious. Thank God. I hate when people freak out. It's not like I'm someone special, I mean "Dad" was the founder and owner of a local restaurant chain, but that's nothing.

I walke d into the store, I was SUPPOSE to be meeting my friends here. But they fcking ditched me for a souple of guys. So, I was jus going to walk aound the mall, walk into random stores. I suishe dup my nose a bit, it was just ridiculous. I walke dover to some clothes on one of the racks and started looking at them.
